September 2011 - ReardonSmith Associate, Sidharth Bhatia, joined a distinguished panel to discuss hospitality interiors today and in the future at Focus 11, part of the annual celebration of interior design held at Chelsea Harbour in London. Fellow panellists were James Dilley, Associate Director of Jestico & Whiles, and Bruno Viterbo, Managing Director of Alexandra Champalimaud. The moderator was Catherine Martin, Assistant Editor of Sleeper magazine.
November 2011 - ReardonSmith Architects awarded Hotel Architect of the YEAR 2011 by Building Design Magazine. The Hersham Golf Club and Hotel was one of four RSA projects submitted to be judged for the award.
November 2011 - The Hersham Golf Club and Hotel was presented as a concept for use in urabn brown field sites for the European Hotel Design Awards 2011. The entry was judged as the winner of the 'Future Hotels' catagory. The award was accepted by Conrad Smith and Sidharth Bhatia on behalf of ReardonSmith Architects.

November 2011 - ReardonSmith Associate, Sidharth Bhatia, presented a short seminar titled 'Sense and Sustainability'.
The hotel industry is sending out mixed messages on sustainability. Sense and Sustainability looks at the issue from a long-term 'slow burner' perspective rather than the 'bright spark' fad it is at the moment. Realism and honesty give sustainability a far better chance of survival well after it's stopped being a headline grabber.

March 2012 - Sidharth Bhatia of ReardonSmith Architects was invited to the HI-AIM 2012 Conference in New Delhi to present the award winning 'Subterranean Hotel'. Sidharth also formed part of a panel discussion on 'BOH; The Heart of a Hotel'.
